Job Summary



The incumbent will work closely with Product, Revenue Strategy, Sales and Content teams to bring clarity and consistency to how we measure TV performance, benchmark it against the broader market, and build data-led narratives that inform pricing, planning and positioning. The role is central to shaping JioStar's point of view on India's evolving TV and Digital market, emphasizing the unique nature of expanding media consumption in the country. Work will influence product decisions, go-to-market narratives, advertiser conversations, new solutions, and platform roadmap.


Key Responsibilities



Strategy

Drive the analytics foundation for JioStar's TV products, including measurement frameworks, delivery reporting, forecasting models and competitive intelligence. Build a coherent narrative on India's TV ecosystem using BARC data, genre dynamics, advertiser trends, seasonal patterns and historical performance. Partner with GTM and Sales teams to strengthen the value story of TV vs Digital, and TV + Digital together, grounded in actual delivery evidence rather than perception. Support revenue strategy through data-led inputs on pricing, packaging, sponsorship and impact properties. Compare and contrast TV deliveries with Digital plans using first principles of media delivery (reach curves, frequency behavior, CPRP /CPM currencies, cross screen deliveries, etc.).

Operational KRAs

Own BARC data extraction, analysis and interpretation across channels, time bands, genres, and campaign periods. Track channel performance, share movements and competitive shifts while identifying risks and opportunities for revenue teams. Analyze advertiser activity, category trends, campaign weights, and media mixes of key brands to support proactive pitching. Build dashboards and BI views for TV performance, ratings forecasts, viewership patterns, and delivery benchmarks. Develop models that link TV product performance to Digital product benchmarks, illustrating complementarity and incremental value. Collaborate with Sales to evaluate annual deals, impact properties and large-format packages through robust data-backed analysis. Prepare review decks and product insights for leadership. Evolve measurement methodologies over time to reflect changes in BARC, industry standards and advertiser expectations.

Commercial Impact

Provide analytical justification for pricing, sponsorship, impact properties and inventory allocation decisions. Support annual budgeting and planning exercises by forecasting channel performance and revenue potential. Identify shifts in viewership or competition that can unlock revenue opportunities for Sales and Channel teams.

Skills & Attributes for Success



Deep knowledge of

BARC

,TV media metrics, CPRP, reach-frequency dynamics and delivery benchmarks. Strong understanding of Digital planning metrics to compare TV and Digital on equal footing. Ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders. Strong business sense and analytical judgement. Comfort working with BI tools, Excel, dashboards and large datasets. Planning and organization skills. Clear communication and influencing ability.

Preferred Education & Experience



MBA with

2+ years' experience

in Product, Analytics, Revenue Strategy or Planning roles inside media publishers/ broadcasters. Must have hands-on experience with BARC tools and television media analytics.
