Key Responsibilities
Handle
ocean freight pricing
(FCL & LCL - Import & Export)
Negotiate rates with
shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents
Prepare and issue competitive quotations to sales and customers
Maintain and regularly update
rate contracts and tariff sheets
Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams
Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing
Ensure pricing accuracy, margin control, and approval compliance
Support RFQs, tenders, and key account pricing
Maintain pricing MIS and provide periodic reports to management
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (Logistics / Supply Chain preferred)
4-7 years of experience
in
sea freight pricing
within a freight forwarding company
Strong knowledge of
FCL, LCL, INCOTERMS, surcharges, and routing
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and pricing tools
Ability to manage multiple quotations under tight timelines
