Job Description

Location:

Hadapsar, Pune.

Job Purpose:

To plan, coordinate, and control all production-related activities for the

Automotive Manufacturing Unit

, ensuring on-time delivery, optimized capacity utilization, and efficient material flow across all manufacturing stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

daily, weekly, and monthly production plans

based on customer schedules and available machine capacity. Coordinate with

stamping, CNC, tool room, maintenance, quality, and stores

to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion. Manage

SAP/ERP-based production planning

, material requirement planning (MRP), and work order generation. Monitor

press and CNC machine loading

, ensuring optimum utilization and minimal idle time. Track

plan vs. actual production

; analyze reasons for variance and implement corrective actions. Plan and monitor

raw material, tool, and die availability

for upcoming schedules. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for

job work planning

(tooling, machining, or surface treatment). Review and control

WIP (Work in Progress)

inventory and maintain required stock levels. Ensure

timely dispatches

as per customer requirements (OTD performance). Prepare and share

daily/weekly MIS reports

on production, material flow, and planning adherence. Implement

Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices

to improve PPC efficiency. Act as a key link between

Sales, Purchase, Production, and Dispatch

for planning and communication. Support

new product development (NPD)

planning in coordination with the design and tooling teams.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of

automotive manufacturing processes

, especially

stamping, CNC, and machining operations

. Knowledge of

BOM, routing, and process flow

in ERP/SAP systems. Ability to manage

multiple machines, dies, and part numbers

effectively. Data-driven approach with strong analytical and coordination skills. Good command over

Excel (pivot, formulas, charts)

for reporting and analysis. Excellent communication and follow-up skills across departments and suppliers.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification:

BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering

Experience:

5-8 years in PPC in

automotive stamping / CNC machining

industry

ERP System Exposure:

SAP or any manufacturing ERP preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
