Roles and Responsibilities of Asst. Manager Poultry Farm

: -

The role of the Asst. Manager poultry farm is a multi-tasking function, involves the ownership of the entire process in taking care of the live stock such as;: -

(i) Manage the manpower at

shed/allotted section

(ii) Handling the insemination in consultation with

Farm managers/in charges

(iii) Timely arrange to feed, grade of birds/eggs, collection of eggs.

(iv) Supervise

(Ensure proper)

the cleaning of eggs.

(v) Weighing the birds and maintaining the weight charts of the birds.

(vi) Arrange

(Carryout)

vaccination, sanitation & medication

time to time

for the birds as per instruction

(vii)

Maintain

various reports daily, weekly and monthly reports

(viii) Sundry errand jobs management.

(ix) Co-ordinating with handyman like plumber, carpenter, fabricator, electrician etc.,

(x) Overall health and hygiene of the farm.

(xi) Fly & Pest control.

(xii) Control of Mortality and disposal of the dead birds.

(xiii) Disposal of birds/chicks/eggs etc., for sale or transfer.

(xiv) Removal of Manure for disposal/storage of the same.

(xv) Coordination with other departments.

(xvi) Reporting of unusual mortalities/production problems to farm in charges.

(xvii) Maintain required registers/records

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
