Job Description


The Assistant Manager will be part of the Media Insights team and work alongside the other commercial teams in Global Clients and Media team. She/ he will support and advise on strategic, commercial and operational decision-making through insights that drive better business performance.

The Assistant Manager will provide timely & meaningful insights (Media- Agyle and brand related, supplier focused, trading related etc.) to the CFO, Finance Director, Global Media Partners (GMP) and Supplier Leads. She/ he will be required to work across a wide stakeholder group including Group, Regional, Market Finance teams and Amplifi teams across the organizations to ensure timely media & supplier data submissions & reporting

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the preparation of new reporting requirements as well as periodic (monthly/quarterly/annual) performance dashboards & presentations for the Media Insights (Commercial) team.
  • Provide financial insights based on the market inputs post media deals data reported (monthly/quarterly/annual)
  • Help in reaching out to the markets to understand the reason for variance and support the team (onsite & offshore)
  • Provide support on variance analysis for the forecast cycle submission including media income variance and segment variance
  • Play a key role in preparation of monthly/quarterly reports for different media income streams and important packs for trading directors.
  • Variance analysis of reported numbers with the manual collation of deal specific data. Provide insights from the feedback received as well as highlighting any risks and impairment.
  • Support on all periodic and adhoc requests received from Global Client and Media team, Brands, GMPs and Commercial leads including Media Performance Reporting & Insights, P&L reporting and Risk/Opportunity insights
  • Interact with stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns and discuss them with Reporting Manager.
  • Timely escalation of issues to Reporting Manager and suggest action plan for resolution of issue.
  • Provide timely updates, dashboards, KPI reports and maintain effective engagement with various stakeholders and other process owners.
  • Suggest measures for process/ report improvements and lead in carrying it out effectively
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation and ensuring policy compliance.
  • Should be capable to lead projects independently.
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • CA/ICWAI/MBA from reputed institute with a minimum of 4 - 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in BPO/KPO Industry handling Group/Regional/Client - reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) & Business finance
  • Should have basic Power BI knowledge and report maintenance.
  • Should have advanced excel skills.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Should be a quick learner, self-driven and lead independently.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics and business structure
