Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management

:

? Oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse, ensuring a smooth flow of inbound and outbound logistics.

? Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.

? Monitor and analyse warehouse performance metrics like throughput, order accuracy, and inventory turnover.

?

Vendor Management

:

? Manage relationships with logistics partners, suppliers, and other third-party vendors.

? Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement and service delivery.

? Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

?

Client Management

:

? Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring timely resolution.

? Understand client requirements and align warehouse operations to meet their SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

? Regularly provide clients with operational insights and updates through performance reports and review meetings.

?

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

:

? Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

? Implement lean methodologies and best practices to minimize wastage and maximize productivity.

? Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

?

Team Leadership & Training

:

? Lead a team of warehouse supervisors, associates, and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

? Develop and implement training programs to upskill the team on SOPs, safety protocols, and the use of warehouse management systems (WMS).

? Monitor and manage staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and handle employee grievances.

Data Analysis & Reporting

:

? Utilize

MS Excel

for data analysis, inventory tracking, and generating detailed reports.

? Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on warehouse operations, KPIs, and cost management.

? Use data-driven insights to forecast demand, manage capacity planning, and ensure optimal stock levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background

:

? Bachelor's/Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.

?

Experience

:

? Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.

? Proven track record in managing end-to-end warehouse operations, vendor relationships, and client coordination.

?

Technical Skills

:

? Proficiency in

MS Excel

for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced functions).

? Experience with

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

,

ERP software

, and other supply chain management tools.

? Strong understanding of logistics workflows, inventory control, and transportation management.
