Job Purpose: Engineer - Module/Inverter is responsible for detailed technical assessment, installation, and calibration of solar modules and inverters. They ensure system efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and align task execution with engineering specifications and industry standards for optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
System Design and Specification:
Develop and design photovoltaic module and inverter systems, applying advanced engineering principles to ensure alignment with project requirements and operational standards.
Utilize software tools and simulation techniques to optimize system performance, ensuring energy production goals are met and best practices are followed.
Advanced Inverter Configuration:
Oversee the configuration of sophisticated inverter systems, including string and central inverters, ensuring precise setup for maximum energy conversion efficiency.
Implement advanced calibration procedures, including parameter adjustments and performance tuning, to achieve optimal system integration and operational efficiency.
Integration and Testing:
Manage the integration of solar modules with inverter systems, ensuring seamless connectivity within the overall photovoltaic setup.
Conduct thorough integration testing, utilizing specialized diagnostic tools to validate system performance and identify integration issues, ensuring a fully operational solar power system.
Technical Issue Resolution:
Diagnose and address complex technical issues related to solar modules and inverters, employing advanced diagnostic techniques such as electrical fault analysis and performance testing.
Analyze detailed performance data from monitoring systems to assess the efficiency and output of photovoltaic modules and inverters, utilizing data analytics to identify trends and recommend optimizations.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all system designs, installations, and configurations adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
Conduct regular quality assurance inspections and compliance audits to verify that all components and systems meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation related to module and inverter commissioning, performance metrics, and compliance with management systems.
Prepare and submit site-wise budgets for OPEX, CAPEX, and procurement related to module and inverter projects, ensuring alignment with operational performance objectives.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required.
Strong academic foundation in power electronics, electrical systems, and control systems. Knowledge of solar PV systems and components is essential.
Work Experience:
3-4 years of experience in solar PV module or inverter installation, commissioning, and testing.
Hands-on experience in electrical equipment testing, troubleshooting, and quality control. Knowledge of safety protocols, work permit systems, and grid connection procedures.
