Primary Role & Responsibility Minimum Qualification
Job Summary : The processes involve accounting & reporting work for Insurance Domain, preferably requiring the sound understanding of IFRS Reporting. The role also envisages preparation and consolidation of financial reporting. Professionals would be an individual working on high-end systems and various reporting software applications like Workiva, Eagle Wings and Oracle, for meeting their monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables.
Key Accountabilities : Operations & Process:
Support the preparation of the consolidated fair value footnote for inclusion in Forms 10-Q and 10-K filings
Responsible for review, timely and accurate delivery of GAAP & STAT reporting, disclosures, MD&A, Surveys etc.
Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of Financial Reporting, disclosures, State filing, Surveys etc.
Peers(team members) for the purpose of seeking co-operation & clarification on process-related matters & providing assistance and support when required
Ownership of processes, reports, procedures or products. Subject Matter Expertise in SEC reporting, Notes to accounts, and other Disclosures etc
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills and the ability to multi task and work in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels across the organization
Knowledge of Regulatory reporting concepts including accounting standards
Understanding of Insurance & LLOYD’s market and STAT Principals
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power BI etc.)
ERP’s such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Wdesk, Workday, COGNOS etc.
Experience with financial reporting applications (Oracle BI, Essbase, Workiva)
Experience with eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) tagging
Proficiency in English
