The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the MICE market. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, developing and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of MICE events.
Account Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Identify new business opportunities, establish contacts, and build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's MICE client base.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of clients.
Nurture existing client relationships, understand their requirements, and provide customized solutions.
Builds and strengthens accounts with existing and new customers, industry organizations and brand network to enable future bookings.
Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful event planning and execution.
Work closely with the operations team to plan and execute MICE events, ensuring all client requirements are met.
P&L Ownership:
Take full responsibility for P&L and act as the key liaison between clients and internal teams to drive success.
Business Expansion & Innovation:
Identify emerging market trends and creatively drive business expansion using our diverse range of services.
Work closely with senior management across departments to seize new business opportunities and build impactful relationships.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between sales teams and other department.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree/ MBA
Proven Experience in MICE / Corporate Sales / Institutional Sales with 5-10 years of experience from Travel Industry.
Strong Leadership skills, negotiating and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel across Locations in the Region.
