Department Description The WPFH Business Management team currently provide central support for the UK Financial Services, WPFH and Investment Services and Solutions (ISS) business areas, working closely with the Legal Entity CEO\'s, Senior Leadership Team and the respective channel business managers. Responsibilities include data analysis, production of Quarterly Business Reviews, facilitating business governance meetings, preparation of board reports and senior leadership team support. In addition, the team provides both portfolio PMO support for the WPFH Business Change Teams as well as direct PMO support for critical initiatives. Purpose of your role The job holder will support the Chief Operating Office (COO) Management Information (MI) team by developing and delivering a best in-class MI and insight capability for various functions within Chief Operating Office. Incumbent is required to work closely with functions, understand their requirement objectively and suggest solution in the form of MI which is fit for purpose. Also, this includes regular contribution of a central repository of operational data, the implementation of MI tools and best practice and providing thought leadership on MI development. The role will involve regular interaction with members of the COO Management teams across UK, Europe and Asia together with representatives from the Business Management, Oversight and Analytics communities across the wider organisation. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with businesses like WPFH and ISS business leads to identify and implement MI solutions that support streamlining of processes or drive efficiencies in their respective areas Possess data science skills which can help the team to offer predictive/prescriptive capabilities to its customer alongside descriptive analytics. Correlation, regression, forecasting, modelling, hypothesis testing etc. to name a few Utilise strong quantitative data skills to provide original insight and executive analysis to middle and senior management levels Deliver high quality MI with accurate numbers and Business Insights for BAU & Project work including handling of strategic support to senior leaders Manage and handle Snowflake data lake using SQL query language and ensure usage of data for publishing MI. Also be able to train fellow colleagues internally on SQL issues faced if any Gather business requirements and execute MI projects utilising dynamic or static reports as required Provide high quality data visualisation outputs leveraging tools like PowerBi including proactively identifying reports that should be migrated to this tool e.g. legacy Excel reports Be a part of and help drive changes and/or bring innovative ideas and solutions so that team is working smartly rather than mechanically. It could be ad-hoc, project-based work and BAU Produce and work on value-add MI by generating insights around the reports, questioning outliers, talking to business teams and able to relate spikes with reasons to provide storyline powered by facts Work collaboratively with the team and at times mentor colleagues to achieve end goals Required Experience and Qualifications Be a self-starter from day-1 and most importantly \'Be Curious\' who can challenge the status quo and bring thought leadership on the table A minimum working experience of 8+ years in Management Information / Analytics field is required Sound analytical skills with an eye for details and an appetite to dive into issues in depth as needed Hands on experience of Python is essential to be able to handle big data mash up Working knowledge of Snowflake (using MS SQL) is highly desirable Ability to deal on data science with good knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics Working knowledge of PowerBi & MS SQL is highly essential for this role Quantitative aptitude with a passion to work with data to make it meaningful Well-developed written communication skills for articulating insights Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain deadlines Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills along with excellent presentation and communication skills Ability to manage stakeholders across geography and bridge gaps between delivery and expectations Experience of producing qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpret large and varied data sets to provide insight appropriate to stakeholder Ability to multi-task with appropriate time management to handle pressing deliverables without compromise on the quality Desirable Experience and Qualifications Working knowledge of SQL database is must to have with an ability to write SQL queries Good know how of Python is also must to have Quantitative aptitude with a passion to work with data to make it meaningful Project management Analytical blend of mind emphasize on insights, storyboarding, commentary writing Lean/Six Sigma Business Analytic tools e.g. PowerBI, Snowflake, SQL, SharePoint etc. Feel rewarded For starters, we\'ll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
