Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor safety procedures, systems, and standards across the plant operations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments in manufacturing areas. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to Environment, Health & Safety. Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for all employees and contractors. Coordinate with local authorities (Factory Inspector, Pollution Control Board, etc.) for statutory approvals and inspections. Maintain EHS documentation, records, and reports as per company and legal requirements. Support implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Promote a strong safety culture across all departments.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Industrial preferred). Diploma in Industrial Safety (recognized under Factories Act) is

mandatory

. Good understanding of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience in cell manufacturing / renewable energy / heavy manufacturing will be an added advantage.
