To ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost reporting by managing costing processes, variance analysis, and SAP data, while supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and insurance coordination for operational efficiency and compliance.
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Duties and Responsibilities - 1. Inventory Valuation: - Determine the value of inventory, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. - Standard cost accuracy in SAP for all Units. - Ensure accurate inventory valuation for financial reporting - Reconciliation of COGS as per Costing and P&L for month end reporting 2. Monthly Costing MIS: - Prepare and present monthly cost reports and analyses for management. 3. Variance Analysis 4. Data Analysis and Report Preparation: - Contribute to the calculation of Budgeted Cost of Goods Sold for annual budgets - Analysis of Data / Reports from SAP and managing SAP - CO and SAP - COPA module. 5. Maintenance of Cost Centers, Hourly Rates, and Process Costs: - Calculate process costs for accurate cost allocation for direct and Indirect Cost 6. Preparation of Cost Sheets 7. Inventory Audits for Factories and WH : - Oversee quarterly physical stock verification at factory and depot through instructions given to the respective staff - Adjustment of Stock Variance in books of accounts with requisite approvals 8. Insurance: - Timely renewal of insurance policies of assets of the company - Coordination and liaison with Surveyors, Insurance Brokers, Sales Depots/ Factories in case of any insurance claim.
