We are inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager, Medical Coding
In this role you shall be responsible for understanding and extract significant information from Medical Records. Being a Medical coder you have to transform healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. The diagnoses and procedure codes should be coded from Medical Record.
Responsibilities

• Review all bill lines for accuracy, specifically CPT and HCPCS codes.
• Compare mechanism of injury (relatedness)
• Review CPT code translation for non[1]standard bills - Assess the accuracy of the medical records and bill service lines
• Validate the appropriateness of the associated fees
• Assess bill against customer guidelines
• Identifying charges that are outside of state fee schedule and recoding where needed
• Review provider and claim match against client provider database and client claim database

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• Proficient typing skills
• Fluent in English
• Sound understanding of medical claims.
• ICD-10 trained/ and or certified.

Preferred qualifications

• Medical/Science graduates
• You should possess computer skills including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
