Job Category: Materials Management:Job SummaryIf you are a Material Planning specialist, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Material Planner to work for our India Pressure Management Business unit. You will ensure the right materials arrive on time to avoid factory operation delays or line stoppages. This gives you a very important role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while seeking for long-term value creation.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Responsible to Promise an Optimistic Ship Date to Customer Orders and Accountable to Complete the Orders as Per committed date in Co-ordination with different Cross functional Departments aligned with Customer Service Level Principles and Priorities.
• Half yearly review and release of updated of Product Prospectus based on Consumption and Forecast analysis Guidelines.
• Review the newly scheduled orders within 48 hours to have a ship date considering customer need versus execution lead time.
• Identify and highlight the challenges to management team on constraints with respect to Materials, Lead time, Capacity, Quality, Resource and other challenges if any.
• To be Owning the Day-to-day Execution Meeting with Team members and ensure the orders are completed as per promised date by collaborating and resolving the challenges and timely communication.
• Review the orders to be completed in n+6 weeks are on-track against promised dates by Collaborating with Buyers and Strive to meet Plan versus Actual target.
• Collect all unpredicted execution challenges and drive monthly cadence review with collaborators and drive Root cause analysis and preventive actions for top categories in Pareto.
• Quarterly review and updating of Material Planning Parameters in line with Guidelines to meet High Service Levels and Prospectus Lead Time having right Inventory Authoritatively.
• Drive actions towards Inventory targets by Monthly analysis of Inventory forecast vs actual and Revise the Inventory provisions by analyzing the Unallocated Inventory once in a Quarter.
• Ensure Sophisticated Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) Module is implemented and Availability To Promise (ATP) Oracle Parameters are updated. (Example: ATP Rule, ATP check, Lead time, Planner code, Safety stock, MOQ, Min-Max, Days of Supply, Planning Time Fence.)
• Analysis of Sales Forecast vs Plan Vs Actual Participate in SIOP Process Cadence Meetings and improve the material availability to offer the best lead times to our customers.
• Effective work order management ensuring right codes and controlled changes along with work order ageing by coordinating with collaborators to close the orders within timelines.
• People Management:
• Lead and mentor a high performing team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers the best results, made valuable contributions and continuous improvements
• Relationship Management:
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to forecast, plan and facilitate timely materials to the production line as and when required avoiding disruption to production
• Work with cross functional teams to deliver effective solutions
• Liaise with cross function teams on product change requests and review and communicate the impact on material planning and schedules.
• Self-Management:
• Align with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies

• Achieve Promised Date based Service Level (PDSL) and Request Date Service Level (RDSL) Targets.
• Ensure Products are delivered within Prospectus Lead-times.
• Ensure Oracle system parameters are rightly updated and reviewed to meet Inventory Targets.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field with minimum 10 plus years of demonstrated proficiencies required.
• Knowledge of Valve industry
• Good Analytical, Communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel, Power BI, Share point etc.
• Familiar with Oracle application of Betsy & Billy.
