Plan and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for the electronic lock assembly line, ensuring on-time delivery against targets.
Supervise and guide Group Leaders and production teams to achieve departmental objectives, BOM value targets, and quality standards.
Review daily BOM consumption and production output, ensuring adherence to cost and efficiency norms.
Track production performance through KPIs (output, efficiency, rejection %, rework, downtime) and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and execute monthly manpower allocation plans based on production load and skill requirements.
Provide technical inputs for process improvements, line balancing, automation, and error-proofing in electronic lock assembly.
Ensure smooth flow of assembly operations, proactively resolving bottlenecks and coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, SCM, and R&D.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing, setup time reduction, rejection reduction, and yield improvement.
Support new product introduction (NPI) and pilot builds for electronic locks, ensuring line readiness and adherence to process standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ESD safety practices, and other quality standards applicable to electronic assembly.
Train and mentor team members (including Group Leaders) for skill upgradation, discipline, and adherence to work instructions.
Candidate Profile:
Education Required: BE Mechanical / BE Electronics / Diploma with strong manufacturing background.
Experience Required: 7-10 years in assembly/manufacturing, preferably in electronics / electromechanical product assembly.
Good understanding of assembly processes for electronic and electromechanical products.
Awareness and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards, ESD practices, and basic quality tools (7QC, SPC, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and operation standards.
Strong knowledge of productivity concepts, lean manufacturing, 5S, setup time reduction, and 4M Change Management.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills related to assembly processes (mechanical + electronic).
Familiarity with production tracking systems, manpower handling, and rejection/rework analysis.
Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills for managing multiple group leaders.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and digital production tracking tools.
