Roles and ResponsibilitiesBrief job Description:
Prepare and drive the Improvement Plans of Plant through TPM methodology.
Develop and monitor TPM programs, tracking data, and prepare related reports. Facilitate teams in driving for continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity and customer service.
Drive various TPM initiatives across plant Perform routine audits to ensure TPM hygiene of equipment ,production areas, to verify status of TPM activities and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Create a system to ensure that the proper standards of various activities are prepared & ensure that those are adhered.
Work with all departments / sub-committees to plan and schedule TPM activities to include training, coaching, assessments, meetings, etc.
Rigorously track all activities to include schedules, timelines, projects, benefits, etc.
Closely interact with pillar chairmen & members. Train teammates on the established steps and coach individuals, teams, and departments regarding steps and act as the primary resource to all departments
Lead and reinforce TPM related discussions and management of teammates to facilitate and promote change as a necessary.
Serve as an active member of TPM structure and support the functional teams within the plant that support safety, quality, employee involvement and performance.
Motivate various teams to participate in various competitions conducted by CII, QCFI, F&S etc. and guide them for proper preparations.
Define & set time standards for various activities.
Review line balancing & its periodic review.
Scrutiny & monitoring of Service provider\xe2\x80\x99s billing.
Drive Manpower saving initiatives -BAL as well as Service provider.
Align & present Plant performance in structured way for various review meetings & audits through Activity report , pillar presentations and plant presentation
Exposure / Experience in the following area:
Knowledge of TPM and Lean manufacturing is must.
Knowledge TPM pillar approach & its functioning.
Knowledge of industrial engineering functions.
Product knowledge of all automobile systems related to 3 & 4 Wheeler (Petrol / Alternate Fuels.) engine / transmission / vehicle
Knowledge & expertise in using different problem solving techniques.
Should possess good communication, planning, coordination and leadership skills.
Should be well conversant with PowerPoint presentations & Microsoft Office.
