Role Overview
The Sales Manager / Assistant Manager - Sales will be responsible for driving
new business development
, managing
key client relationships
, and achieving revenue targets across
domestic and international logistics services
. The role involves direct selling, market development, and coordination with operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Generate new business for
domestic and international logistics services
Identify and onboard corporate, SME, and individual clients
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Develop sales strategies aligned with company growth plans
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
Understand customer shipping requirements and propose suitable solutions
Handle client negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for smooth shipment execution
Ensure timely follow-ups, documentation support, and customer satisfaction
Address client concerns and provide effective solutions
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
Maintain accurate customer and lead data
Role-Specific ExpectationsSales Manager
Lead regional sales activities and guide junior sales staff
Drive high-value accounts and key partnerships
Support management in setting targets and growth strategies
Assistant Manager - Sales
Support Sales Manager in lead generation and client handling

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Assistant Manager:
2-4 years of sales experience (logistics preferred)
Sales Manager:
5-8 years of sales experience in logistics/freight/courier
Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Skills Required
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Client acquisition and relationship management
Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
Good understanding of logistics and supply chain services
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
