Role

:
As the Assistant Manager / Manager - Quality Assurance, you will lead efforts to ensure that all Cityflo buses consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance. You will oversee daily audits, manage vendor/contractor relationships, and ensure preventive as well as corrective actions are implemented on time. This role requires strong leadership, process orientation, and the ability to drive cross-team coordination to maintain service quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Quality Audits & Standards


Lead and supervise daily hygiene and condition audits across the fleet; ensure adherence to Cityflo's quality standards.
Conduct periodic in-depth audits to evaluate bus maintenance, safety, and sanitation.
Analyze audit results to identify trends, recurring issues, and long-term improvements.

2. Maintenance Management


Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for buses in coordination with operators and internal teams.
Track completion of maintenance activities (suspension, servicing, hygiene upkeep, etc.) to avoid service disruptions.
Implement structured checklists and SOPs to maintain consistency in vehicle upkeep.

3. Vendor & Operator Coordination


Manage relationships with bus operators/owners and ensure timely resolution of operational and maintenance issues.
Drive alignment with operators on weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance services.
Negotiate with and manage third-party contractors to maintain adequate staffing levels for cleaning and servicing.

4. Breakdown & Issue Management


Act as escalation point for breakdowns; coordinate with OEMs (BharatBenz, Eicher, etc.) for swift resolution.
Develop an issue-tracking mechanism to monitor resolution timelines and improve turnaround time.
Assist operators with technical understanding of issues and ensure effective closure.

5. Equipment & Inventory Oversight


Ensure serviceability of all cleaning and maintenance equipment, vehicle parts, and accessories.
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure prompt repairs and replacement.
Maintain inventory controls to avoid downtime due to equipment shortages.

6. Team Leadership & Communication


Provide guidance and regular briefings to the quality team, ensuring clarity on daily objectives and company standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, driver management, vendor partners) to resolve issues proactively.
Report performance metrics, key audit findings, and improvement plans to senior management.

Requirements:


Graduate/Postgraduate with 3-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Operations, or Fleet/Facility Management.
Strong people management and vendor management skills.
Process-driven, with an eye for detail and ability to enforce high standards.
Prior experience in transport, logistics, or facility maintenance preferred.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
