Role Purpose:
The Assistant Manager - Partnerships will play a pivotal role in securing funding, managing donor relationships, and supporting end-to-end grant management. This position involves strategic collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising targets and amplify the organizations impact.
Key Responsibilities: * Fundraising & Donor Engagement:

  • Identify, assess, and cultivate relationships with domestic and institutional donors (CSR, foundations, HNWIs).
  • Lead proposal development, including budgeting, narrative drafting, and alignment with donor priorities.
  • Manage donor accounts, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Contribute to annual income/expense plans and regional fundraising strategies.
  • Map funding opportunities and prioritize partnerships aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with program teams to design impactful projects and ensure smooth grant handovers.
  • Support grant negotiations and troubleshoot implementation challenges.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Represent the organization in external meetings and networking forums.
Scope & Dimensions:
  • Budget Responsibility: Assist in regional budget development and tracking.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Education: Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in fundraising, business development, or partnerships (non-profit/corporate sectors preferred).
  • Skills:
  • Strong proposal writing and donor management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach.
