Role Summary
The Assistant Manager/Manager - Business Development will support the company's expansion across South India by identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting the Company's advisory and project monitoring services.
This is a mid-level, client-facing role focused on lead generation, proposal coordination, and deal support for institutional investors and real estate developers.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
Identify and reach out to potential clients such as Developers, Private Equity Funds, NBFCs, and Institutional Investors.
Support the BD head with market research, database development, and opportunity tracking.
Schedule introductory meetings, presentations, and follow-ups with prospects.
Sales Support & Proposal Coordination
Understand company's service offerings (Due Diligence, Valuation, PMO, Cost Management) and communicate them to potential clients.
Coordinate with internal technical teams to create proposals, pitch decks, and supporting documents.
Assist in pricing discussions and basic commercial structuring.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
Build rapport with decision-makers such as CFOs, Investment Teams, and Project Heads.
Support the team in managing referral relationships with IPCs and financial advisors.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track regional real estate trends, ongoing developments, and funding activities.
Update CRM, prepare weekly BD reports, and support forecasting for the South India region.
Assist senior leadership with insights on new service opportunities.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Engineering, Valuation, and Finance teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and client queries.
Ensure smooth handover of confirmed mandates to the operations/technical team.
Requirements
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience
3-7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Servicing, or Corporate Relations.
Experience in real estate, infrastructure advisory, consulting, or financial services preferred.
Exposure to institutional/B2B sales will be an advantage.
Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand basic financial and real estate concepts.
Good relationship-building and networking abilities.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
MBA preferred but not mandatory.

Number of new qualified leads generated.
Conversion of proposals to confirmed mandates.
Growth in repeat business from existing clients.
Timeliness and quality of BD reporting and coordination.
