Support and assist the site in implementing/maintaining Lean standards in the site.
Assisting and educating the employee on what lean is all about, creating a culture to work with lean and change for the better.
Bridging and checking the standards that are followed and what changes are required.
Actively following the Lean guideline and covering every FTE for training and coaching to upgrade them to have self-awareness about Lean, and getting it implemented.
Job purpose :
The Lean Manager is the responsible person at the site for completing and executing the CEVA Mission, Vision, Credo, and Continuous Improvement, which all lead to the development of a lean culture in the site. He will help and update the site about lean culture and try to update and implement all 35 metrics on the site.
Scope of function :
Contributes to the accomplishment of lean guidelines; he will be in charge of the lean ( or lean change agent ), primarily the centre point of contact for the lean team at the HO. He/she will be the centre point of contact and will try and update all the employees at the site about the matrices. and the way the Lean Manager is the responsible person at the site for completing and executing the CEVA Mission, Vision, Credo, and Continuous Improvement, which all lead to the development of a lean culture in the site. He will help and update the site about lean culture and try to update and implement all 35 metrics change will be changed in the site.
Helps with the training programs and development of tools for the lean implementation.
Updating the employees about the different matrices, educating them about the way the matrices have to be implemented, why, how and for what the change is all about will be explained by him.
Helping and guiding the respective managers of the site to bring about the same kind of changes in their respective departments.
5S -- Maintaining 5S standards of the Warehouse & educating team to achieve the defined targets
Kaizen - Understanding the Kaizen Standards (continuous improvement ), Adhering to the schedule defined & educating & helping the team to achieve the goals. ( 5 Kaizens / Year = Target)
Further information :
He will try and help the country's lean team to get a gist of the lean developments at the site, he will be the centre point of contact who will be executor of the guidance from the SCA and Lean experts from GHO and India.
