The Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounts will be part of the Finance Accounts department in managing the organization's financial & Accounting operations and supporting the Team. This role involves overseeing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, supporting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, GL, reconciliations).
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Maintain general ledger integrity and review journal entries.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.).
Assist in managing statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Team Coordination & Process Improvement
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders (auditors, tax consultants, banks).
Support and mentor junior finance staff as needed.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally , Etc)
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CA Inter, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
3-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
