highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Inventory & Dispatch
to oversee inventory control, stock movement, and dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Monitor, track, and manage inventory movement across multiple locations.
Maintain real-time and accurate stock records in the system.
Conduct periodic stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
Goods Receipt & Documentation:
Oversee preparation and verification of
Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
for all incoming materials.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of
Purchase Orders (POs)
and related documentation.
Coordinate with accounts and procurement teams for invoice matching and approvals.
Warehouse & Dispatch Operations:
Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storage, packing, and dispatch.
Ensure dispatches are executed on time with proper documentation and packaging.
Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and space utilization.
Stock Optimization & Control:
Analyze demand patterns and consumption trends to maintain ideal stock levels.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and plan liquidation strategies.
Implement best practices to minimize stock losses, damages, and discrepancies.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Prepare and review reports on inventory performance, turnover, and accuracy.
Track KPIs related to order fulfillment, dispatch timelines, and warehouse efficiency.
Recommend process improvements for cost reduction and operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or dispatch management.
Strong knowledge of ERP/inventory software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
