Position to be filled: Assistant Manager- International Business
About the Role:
The Assistant Manager International Business will support the Head of International Business in driving growth across international markets. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, market expansion, and operational coordination to strengthen Hesters presence in the global animal healthcare space.
Key Responsibilities: * Assist in developing and executing strategies to promote Hesters vaccine, nutritional, and therapeutic product portfolio in target international markets.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing distributors, ensuring alignment with business goals and consistent sales growth.
  • Monitor distributor performance and provide ongoing support to maximise potential.
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage with potential clients, distributors, and business partners in untapped markets.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand evolving industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Share actionable insights with leadership to guide market strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, veterinary consultants, and institutional customers.
  • Represent Hester at global trade fairs, conferences, expos, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and explore business opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Regulatory, Supply Chain, Production, Marketing, and Finance to ensure the execution of international orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
Veterinary graduate (B.V.Sc.) or Science Graduate is mandatory plus an MBA would be preferred
Experience & Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international marketing
  • Experience in international sales and business development in the poultry or animal health industry will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals in global markets
  • Willingness to travel internationally for business

It is mandatory for the candidate to relocate to Ahmedabad with family
