Position - Assistant Manager-Internal Control & General Accounting Location : Corporate Office, Mumbai Reporting to : Sr. Financial Controller About the Career Opportunity The position is primarily in charge of various audits and internal controls, as well as the review of internal controls processes, archer testing/SOX and non-SOX compliances. This position also assists the Finance Controller with other activities such as corporate accounting, month end and year end processes, statutory audits, Treasury day-to-day operations, and insurance. The position is in charge of coordinating the risk management function and collaborating with the Regional Risk Management team to provide advice, expertise, or reviews to the Company\'s risk management program. The position is in charge of coordinating internal control program, contributing to process improvements with recommendations of required internal controls that could be implemented, and implementing internal control effectiveness and cost-justification reviews. Key Accountabilities Internal Control . Coordinate, collaborate, and maintain company records in order to meet management, statutory, and shareholder requirements, as well as implement, maintain, and continuously review internal control policies and procedures in order toensure strongcorporate governance. . Identify and make recommendations to improve financial and other internal controls and optimise business processes. . Works with internal audit teams to evaluate internal control issues and implement audit recommendations. . Create and document an annual internal control plan, hold periodic internal control steering committee meetings, and advise operational staff on control implementation. Monitor internal control reporting and review the status of the business\'s internal control processes (includetesting of Sox and Non-Soxcontrol) . Manage risk management reporting and collaborate on the Company\'s risk management programme to ensure compliance with Kimberly-Clark Corporation\'s policies and procedures, such as asset protection, insurance company claims, and contract liabilities review, to adequately protect the Company\'s profits and assets. Lead KCM 2.0 project for non-Sox controls for all the Business process Audit . Ensure that books are kept in accordance with applicable IND AS, IFRS, and US GAAP. GL and BS reviews are performed on a regular basis. . Ensure annual statutory audit and book closure in accordance with IND AS and IFRS. Coordination with auditors and timely completion of audit. Treasury . Direct and coordinate the management of short- and long-term funds, as well as ensure adequate strategies are developed to limit the risks associated with foreign exchange and interest rate exposure. Assets Risk Management . Direct and control Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) accounting for the Company in order to meet management and auditor reporting requirements by providing timely reports and analysis that accurately reflect and ensure the integrity of the Company\'s PP&E assessments. Identify opportunities for process improvement on a regular basis. . As part of asset risk management, ensure timely renewal of insurance policies. Experience & Skills required: CA with 3-5 Years of post-qualification experience Experience of corporate accounting, treasury & Internal Control in FMCG MNC organization In-depth understanding of internal controls and risk management tools Excellent communication and Presentation skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders High drive for results Ability to work independently
