Internal Audit - Assistant Manager

Role Summary

The Internal Audit Department is responsible for overseeing the company's internal audit program. This position is for an experienced, pro-active, focused internal audit team member who enjoys delivering hands on quality internal audits.

Job Requirements

Education - CA, MBA, CPA Other qualifications as a plus - CIA, CISA, CFE etc.

Relevant Experience

6 to 11 years' internal audit experience. SOX experience is a plus Audit firm work experience Experience in the residential real estate, residential credit, and corporate credit industry is a plus Exposure to the US Real Estate industry and US legal requirements is a plus

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Execute

- Understand processes and risks, analyze information, maintain quality workpapers, and use insights to develop observations

Report

- Prepare quality audit reports incorporating observations, root cause, and recommendations

Remediate

- Timely follow up on issues, report status, test and conclude on effectiveness of remediation

Manage Stakeholders

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business, processes and obtain required data, communicate audit results and provide updates on status

Adhere to standards

- Ensure adherence with global internal audit standards

Key Result Areas

Timely completion of all Internal Audits with high-quality deliverables Identify risks and improve internal controls Effective management of assigned Internal Audits Recommend and implement changes to strengthen audit processes and internal controls
