Independently develop various search strategies, execute patent/non-patent literature searches for patentability, invalidity, technology landscapes and preparing summary of findings in a concise and complete manner. Searching, analysing, and compiling technical, commercial, and patent information using a variety of free and subscribed databases which will provide information to scientists, technologists, technology management, and legal personnel Providing various types of analyses, such as those for patent landscape, patentability of inventions, competitive assessment, and patent invalidation, portfolio analysis Provide IP and technology monitoring results of key competitors, products and technologies Identify and report innovations in a technology domain through analysis of patent and scientific literature. Carry out searches and analyses to support decision-making around technology and IP. Carry-out patentability searches and novelty assessment Identify the novel and patentable features for patent filings Able to draft the patent claims and have knowledge of the patent filing and prosecution. Able to carry-out the patent infringement and non-infringement analysis of product and process in chemical technology domains. Accountability: Carrying out searches and analysis for specific project/technology areas Identifying patentable inventions and white-spaces Preparing Technology Landscape reports Is accountable for keeping track of in-house patent. KPI : No. of invention disclosure successfully filed. No. of projects taken up as a result of Patent landscaping. Identification of patent opportunity spaces No. of prosecution for infringement of in house patents. No. of office actions defended successfully Preferred Skills : Patent Landscaping Patent search Conversant with all the patent laws and upcoming policies. Experience in patent screening. Report writing Patent drafting Patent office query resolution. Good Presentation and Communication skills Education & Experience Requirements: Qualifications and Education Requirements:_ Post-graduate/M Tech - Biotechnology/Chemistry Diploma/Degree in Patent Law Experience : min. 2 to 3 years
