Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager - B2C Inside Sales & Marketing to lead a team of sales professionals and drive performance in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in B2C inside sales, a passion for people management, and the ability to strategize and execute lead conversion plans effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of inside sales executives to achieve individual and team targets
Monitor day-to-day sales performance, track KPIs, and ensure consistent productivity
Plan and execute strategies to improve conversion rates from leads to closures
Analyze CRM data and sales reports to identify trends, gaps, and improvement areas
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution with a customer-first mindset
Coordinate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives
Ensure timely onboarding, training, and performance review of new team members
Maintain updated records of sales, activity trackers, and client communication
Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for management
Contribute to process improvements, scripting, and sales automation initiatives
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of B2C sales funnels and buyer psychology
Hands-on experience with CRMs like Zoho, Salesforce, or LeadSquared
Data-driven approach with the ability to generate and act on insights
Strategic thinking with the ability to meet aggressive targets
Experience in sales training, onboarding, and performance coaching
High level of ownership, adaptability, and decision-making
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
8-10 years of experience in B2C Inside Sales, with at least 1 year in a team lead/assistant manager role
Proven track record of team target achievement and lead conversion
EdTech, HealthTech, or other high-volume consumer sales experience is a plus
