We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager - Operations, GSC\'s Our Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) customers have many financial needs in their life. Responsibilities: Demonstrate ownership and logical approach to activities undertaken, working collaboratively within the team to ensure that the bank meets its deadline for submission of responses. Ensure that the final response sent by the bank addresses all points sought by the authority and are appropriately responded to, along with supporting documents / data. Ensure that relevant data / information retrieved from various stake holders is as per the requirement and all such confirmations are documented for future records. Ensure that all notices assigned to self for processing are completed on time. Ensure that proper tracking and controls are maintained on all notices received from Authorities, and are responded on time to Authorities. Ensure that no mails / notices are missed out. Learn to proactively engage with various operations teams which provide information to close queries. To ensure as a Bank we meet our timelines for submission of the data being sought by the law enforcement agencies.Create a supportive work environment driven by people centric values Demonstrate strong service competencies and capabilities Ensure that all activities in the team are learned proactively. Demonstrate HSBC Values and behaviors and ensure that the team embody these values and principles at all times. Resolve all BAU issues promptly, and escalate concerns as appropriate. Engage internal customers with immediate updates and supplement with emails, thereby operating effectively. Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards including the timely deployment of Group Audit recommendations to ASP entities and countries Ensure all controls with regards to processing of regulatory notices are maintained and followed diligently. Maintain all requisite MIS to ensure that all records are maintained diligently Requirements Qualifications Diploma or degree in any discipline or relevant work experience commencement with the position Good understanding of the Wholesale Client & Account Servicing (WCAS) process knowledge and acted in the capacity of Subject Matter Expert (E) This will be a SME role hence strong knowledge in Wholesale Client & Account Servicing with specialization in end to end process & good understanding in other service delivery within WCAS arena is essential. (E) Strong understanding of Group and GR Operational Risk Framework (E) Ability to speak and understand English fluently, to write good quality emails and reports, and have good conversational skills. Strong WCAS SME knowledge in all Delivery Services is essential. Ability to learn quickly, transfer knowledge appropriately, understand and interpret numeric data. Evidence of good analytical, statistical and data mining skills to study trends and make projections. Production management skills and ability to initiate process improvements. Ability to Negotiate & build strong relationship with Business Partner or Onshore Centers Good keyboard skills and proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications Good prioritizing, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills Flexibility to work shifts and Ability to multi-task. Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with, relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people. Knowledge of and experience in problem solving techniques. Decision making based on experience, judgement and process knowledge. Able to work under challenging environment with tight timelines Comprehensive working knowledge of HUB.
