Key responsibilities of the role include posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires. You will be tasked with maintaining employee records, personal files, contracts, and HR databases. Additionally, you will coordinate induction programs and initial employee training schedules, handle employee queries, and maintain positive employee relations. Managing leave, attendance, and discipline records according to hotel policy will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assist in organizing staff engagement activities, welfare programs, and ensure legal compliance with labor laws, employment policies, and statutory filings. Supporting performance appraisal processes, training needs assessments, and helping implement health & safety, anti-harassment, and grievance procedures are also key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate for this position would hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Being discreet, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while handling confidential information professionally are also important attributes.
