Role Overview
The
Assistant Manager - HR
will support the HR Manager in managing
day-to-day HR operations
, recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and institutional HR documentation. The role requires prior
experience in an educational institution
, with an understanding of academic HR practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
Assist in recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff across institutions.
Coordinate interviews, offer letters, appointment letters, and joining formalities.
Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation of new employees.
HR Operations & Administration
Maintain employee records, service files, and HR databases.
Track attendance, leave records, and staff movements.
Support payroll coordination, professional tax, and statutory records.
Policy Implementation & Compliance
Assist in implementing institutional HR policies, SOPs, and service rules.
Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and academic governance norms.
Support audits, inspections, and documentation related to HR.
Employee Relations & Support
Act as a point of contact for staff queries related to HR policies and procedures.
Assist in handling grievances, disciplinary documentation, and follow-ups.
Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with Principals, Admin, Accounts, and Management for HR matters.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, and periodic updates for the HR Manager.
Ensure timely execution of instructions issued by HR Manager and Management.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3-6 years of HR experience
, preferably in an
educational institution
.
Strong knowledge of HR operations, documentation, and compliance.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR documentation systems.
