Assistant Manager Hse
Job Description
Assist Head - HSE in strategic planning of safety and environment goals and targets to be used in line with GHSE and SCO region. Deputise for the Head - HSE during his period of absence and business travel Where required Lead/assist incident investigations with an aim to avoid/prevent recurrence of similar incidents Advice and assist departments in the practical application of assigned HSE actions Use expertise in identifying potential high risks and determining the needed course of action in the implementation of risk reduction controls. Manage global/regional/BU programs and initiatives from conception to successful completion Determining On the Job Training Needs for Employees and contractors pertaining to HSE preparing and conducting training as per the training matrix. Maintain Safety & Health, Environment Management system Awareness of customer requirements in terms of HSE throughout the organization Bring innovation and use best practices to reduce risk in the operational activities Establish and maintain emergency management system. Make sure compliance of all legal requirements on HSE. Assist Head- HSE in taking care of security functions
