General Mills India Centre

General Mills India Center (GIC) operates out of Mumbai and supports the global operations of General Mills. The center was established in 2005 and has grown in strength. Today, we are a vibrant and diverse team of over 1800+ employees that come together to champion business services for the various global entities of General Mills in the areas of Business Operations, Analytics Consulting, Logistics, Finance, Digital & Technology, Consumer & Market Intelligence, Sales Capabilities, Research & Development.
Position Summary

This role will ensure that General Mills is positioned to attract, source and recruit the best talent, both internally and externally. The role is heavily dependent on working across functions and markets and building relationships with business teams (hiring managers and HR). We are looking for a lead who is passionate about recruitment, a fast learner and a team player, comfortable with challenging the status quo. The ideal candidate will have a customer service approach, a global mindset, attention to detail and will be a self-starter focused on delivering exceptional results.
Job Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy for the Supply Chain function within the organization.
  • Experience in hiring for supply chain discipline such as logistics, supply planning & demand planning, procurement, supply chain analytics, engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Heads to address immediate and long-term hiring needs effectively.
  • Actively build our talent brand through various channels leveraging social media networks, relevant forums, and platforms
  • Responsible for driving strategy & implementation of hiring including volume Hiring, Niche Hiring, Diversity & Inclusion, Market intelligence & insights for Supply chain function in partnership with HRBP & business leaders.
  • Lead the campus recruitment strategy for the Supply Chain function, fostering synergies between different functional areas and positioning General Mills as a preferred employer in campuses.
  • As recruitment process owner drive process improvements & evaluating new process and technology solutions that drive business impactRe-look & re-vamp recruitment policies & processes as required to align better with organisation growth/staffing plans.
  • Responsible for recruitment metrics. While leveraging the Applicant Tracking System
  • Champion an efficient, effective, and inclusive hiring process with heightened candidate experience
  • Manage relationships with local Recruitment Agencies.
  • This role partners with local and global key stakeholders in Talent Acquisition to bring hiring strategies to life at the GIC. The role reports to Head of Talent Acquisition, India.

Functional Excellence
  • Ensure consistent application of Recruitment CoE policies, practices and processes.
  • Partner with local HR to ensure deep understanding of local talent requirements
  • Support and champion the CoE strategies with local teams
  • Keep up to date on local recruitment market trends and best practices
  • Serve as process owner and support continuous improvement for employee onboarding
  • Support the local HR team on Learning and Development projects

Qualification

  • Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
  • Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
  • Preferred Major Area of Study: HR
  • Minimum 8 years & above relevant work experience in Talent Acquisition in Supply chain domain.
