Role Overview:
We are hiring an Assistant HR Manager with over 5 years of hands-on experience in HR operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and improving core HR processes, maintaining compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR functioning while supporting strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
Manage and update employee records in the HRMS system
Oversee attendance, leave, and time tracking processes
Prepare and share payroll inputs with the finance team
Maintain documentation for onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits
Coordinate group insurance, mediclaim, and employee reimbursements
Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.)
Manage audit preparation and ensure timely submissions of reports
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Coordinate end-to-end hiring process as per business needs
Conduct initial screening and schedule interviews
Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation for new employees
Employee Engagement & Support:
Handle employee queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
Assist in organizing engagement activities and welfare programs
Monitor employee satisfaction and contribute to retention efforts
Performance Management & Policy Implementation:
Support performance appraisal cycles and maintain performance records
Help implement HR policies and ensure adherence across teams
Generate HR MIS reports, analytics, and dashboards for leadership
Training and development:
Identify training needs across departments through performance reviews and feedback
Design and implement training calendars for technical, soft skills, and compliance training
Coordinate with internal and external trainers for program delivery
Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records
Promote a learning culture and facilitate employee development programs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in core HR operations roles
Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance
Proficient in HRMS tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably within a tech or startup environment.
Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with HR software is a plus.
Work Environment:
Full-time position based in Pune.
Work from office, Monday to Friday.
