The Assistant Manager - HR supports the execution of HR strategies and operations aligned with business objectives in a financial services environment. The role focuses on talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, performance management, and employee engagement while ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Manage end-to-end recruitment for middle-level positions across functions
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements
Conduct interviews, reference checks, and offer rollouts
Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new hires
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
Manage joining, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits
Handle employee documentation, records, and HRIS updates
Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends
3. Performance Management
Support implementation of performance appraisal systems
Coordinate goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluations
Assist managers in performance improvement plans (PIP)
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
Address employee grievances and promote a positive work culture
Drive employee engagement initiatives and communication programs
Support disciplinary procedures and internal investigations
5. Compensation & Benefits Support
Assist in salary structuring, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
Support annual increment, bonus, and incentive processes
Benchmark compensation practices within the financial services industry
6. HR Compliance & Statutory Adherence
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory filings, and audits
Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, and other statutory requirements
Support internal and external audits
7. Learning & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs
Track training effectiveness and maintain learning records
Support leadership development initiatives
8. HR Reporting & Analytics
Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and presentations for management
Analyze HR metrics such as attrition, hiring, and engagement
