The Assistant Manager - HR will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and optimizing HR operations, policies, and employee engagement activities within the company. This role ensures smooth manpower planning, recruitment, employee life-cycle management, training & development, statutory compliance, and employee relations, aligned with organizational goals & culture and industry-specific demands.
Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
End-to-end recruitment for all departments (technical & non-technical).
Maintain workforce planning & manpower budgeting in alignment with production demands.
Employee Onboarding & Induction
Conduct orientation programs for new hires.
Ensure proper documentation, verification, and system entry of employee data.
Performance Management
Timely JD, KRA - KPI preparation and updation.
Assist in performance appraisal cycles.
Monitor KPI/KRA progress & generate periodic reports.
Training & Development
Identify training needs across departments.
Coordinate training calendar execution (POSH, 5S, technical, soft skills, etc.).
Employee Engagement & Welfare
Plan & execute employee welfare activities, cultural events, and grievance handling.
Promote open communication between employees and management.
Compliance & HR Policies
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Factories Act).
Draft, review, and implement HR policies aligned with labor laws.
Payroll & Attendance
Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
Coordinate with accounts for salary disbursement.
Maintain HR dashboards (headcount, attrition, TAT in recruitment, training effectiveness).
Present reports to management for decision-making.
Timely brainstorming & MIS Data sheet.
