Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager - IT (Data Integration, Automation & Development) to lead and support healthcare technology systems serving US-based healthcare clients. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team coordination, solution ownership, and process improvement responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, SQL, HL7, FHIR-based integrations, healthcare data exchange, and automation, along with the ability to mentor junior team members, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure reliable, compliant healthcare data operations.

Key Responsibilities



Technical & Delivery Responsibilities



Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of data integration and automation workflows for healthcare systems. Architect, build, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and API integrations (HL7, FHIR, REST, SOAP). Oversee HL7 message processing, troubleshooting, and monitoring across EMR, transcription, billing, and downstream systems. Own end-to-end interface development, deployment, and maintenance with third-party vendors, clearinghouses, and internal platforms. Perform and review data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation using SQL, Python, and structured/unstructured datasets (CSV, JSON, XML). Provide technical oversight and support for VB.NET, C#, or web-based applications used in RCM and internal IT operations. Ensure system reliability through monitoring of Windows servers, RDP/VPN access, logs, and integration queues.

Leadership & Management Responsibilities



Act as a technical point of contact for US healthcare operations, clients, and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with QA, development, compliance, and operations teams to debug, optimize, and document workflows. Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization across integration and data pipelines. Participate in capacity planning, task prioritization, and delivery timelines. Ensure HIPAA compliance, PHI data protection, and adherence to healthcare interoperability standards.

Required / Preferred Skills



Core Technical Skills



Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting and SQL (complex queries, joins, validation, automation). Solid understanding of HL7, FHIR, and API-driven healthcare integrations. Experience with healthcare data formats such as ADT, ORU, ORM, CCD, JSON, XML, CSV. Working knowledge of VB.NET, C#, or web-based development (preferred). Hands-on experience with Windows Server, VPN, RDP, MFA, and basic network troubleshooting. Experience with automation, ETL processes, or data pipeline development.

Domain & Soft Skills



Prior experience supporting US Healthcare systems, including RCM, EMR/EHR, or Practice Management platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SQL, Python, HL7, FHIR, or healthcare IT are a plus but not mandatory. Equivalent work experience with strong technical skills may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)



Exposure to integration engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Iguana, or similar). Experience with Azure, AWS, or any cloud data workflow tools. Understanding of HIPAA compliance, PHI data handling, and healthcare interoperability. Knowledge of automation frameworks (Airflow, Power Automate, or custom schedulers). Prior work with RCM systems, EHRs, or practice management platforms.

Shift:

Night Shift (05:30 PM - 02:30 AM IST, Monday to Friday)

Location:

Onsite - Noida, India

Transport:

Candidates must have their own means of commute.
