This role is for candidates with experience in handling Supply chain and Logistics in both retail as well as ecommerce domain. Please do not apply if your experience is from different industry as this role is strictly for only retail and ecommerce candidates as the organisation is in these two domains.He/She will make his/her career supporting the logistics function. The role would include daily interactions with external third party logistics partners such as forwarding, warehousing and transportation partners and internal counter parts such as sales operations, inventory allocation, merchandising functions and also global headquarters"Key responsibility of this role includes:? Work on day to day operational performance of third party logistics partners, making use of metrics and daily dashboards to ensure business objectives are met.? Coordinate with internal counter parties to plan ahead to accommodate business requirements and to ensure efficient warehouse processing and low-cost operations.? Support the team on cost reduction initiatives and contract negotiations with external partners.? Support future RFP processes with potential fulfillment and distribution vendors to build out logistics network.? Proactively action the requests from stores, as well as, consider and propose ideas on how we can best serve the stores and customers.? Support Import operations ""? Master degree in SCM (Bachelor degree is minimum),. Atleast 4-8 years Logistics experience in a retail company (Preferred both offline and Online Retail Experience).? Analytical ability and attention to detail.? Computer skills including Microsoft Excel.? Sensitivity to working with a different culture and the communication skills to maximize interactions with internal/external parties including GHQ members? Ability to travel. For example, once per week paced visit to the warehouse located in Haryana. This can vary depending on peak/off peak seasonality.? Possess strong integrity, energy and credibility.? Have strong planning, organizing and prioritization skills.?
