Our team:



Operations, Governance & Optimization (OGO) is the oil in the engine of JBS. The team works together to design, build, and manage the systems that drive outcomes for JBS, support transparency in our engagements with the business, and enable us to demonstrate efficiency at scale.



What this job involves:



As a Assistant Manager in Global Governance for JBS, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring organizational excellence through governance framework development, management, and oversight. This position offers the opportunity to create and sustain robust governance structures that support business objectives across our global operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor governance policies and procedures that drive accountability and transparency. Working at the intersection of compliance, risk management, and strategic planning, you'll help shape a brighter way for our Operations teams by ensuring our governance practices ensure the stability to support sustainable operations.



What your day-to-day will look like:



Manage the JBS Governance Framework - this means leading the review process, ensuring comprehensive updates, and building new components



Lead stakeholder alignment by coordinating with capability leads, process owners, and leadership teams



Oversee governance components across various capabilities, providing a unified view to ensure consistency and adherence to established frameworks



Lead process re-certification governance at several intervals throughout the year, maintaining compliance and operational standards across all JBS functions



Collaborate with the Knowledge Management team to audit and govern site and content management systems, supporting adoption of best practices



Support audit coordination and response activities, serving as a liaison between auditors and operational teams to ensure seamless information flow and timely resolution



Required Skills and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Operations, or related field



7-9 years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or operations roles within a shared services, Global Capability Center (GCC) or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment



Demonstrated experience with framework development, process documentation, and compliance management



Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously across different time zones



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with collaboration platforms



Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels



Experience working in virtual, global teams with demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability



Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:



Professional certification in governance, risk management, or related field (e.g., GRC, or similar)



Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance in a multinational organization



Familiarity with SharePoint, content management systems, or similar knowledge management platforms



Previous experience in real estate, professional services, or similar industries



Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail



Experience with process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies
