As an Assistant Manager - Finance, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Finance & Accounting operations, managing a high-performing team, and driving process excellence. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic initiatives across Ramboll's global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Finance & Accounting team.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Promote a service-oriented mindset and ensure delivery of high-quality outputs.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and schedules (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Conduct financial reviews and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts and budgets.
Process Excellence & Controls
Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous process improvements.
Standardize documentation and procedures for clarity and consistency.
Support system implementations and ad-hoc financial projects.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Understand client needs and deliver on agreed expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance.
Technical Expertise
Apply strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise in R2R processes.
Provide expert guidance on financial processes and best practices.
Analyze data for reports, presentations, and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.Com & CA Inter (or equivalent professional qualification).
Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in managing Finance & Accounting functions, with at least 3 years in a people management role.
Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with financial software applications (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Knowledge of Maconomy ERP is a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
