Job Summary
BigTapp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager - Finance
to join our Finance team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with strong expertise in managing end-to-end financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. This role involves maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing MIS, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and ensuring timely statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and monitor variances.
Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules for completeness and accuracy.
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow requirements.
Support the Business Finance team in preparing MIS reports and analytics.
Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, and tax consultants to facilitate audits and statutory filings.
Handle banking operations and ensure liquidity management.
Support management and Head Office Finance in any additional finance-related matters.
Mandatory Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
6-8 years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting operations.
Experience in maintaining books of accounts and financial reconciliations.
Proficiency in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.) and MS Office (especially Excel).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
Graduate in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
Technical Skills
ERP Systems: Zoho Books, Oracle, Netsuite (or similar).
Tools: MS Excel, MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of statutory compliance and financial reporting.
Soft Skills
