Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS) and statutory regulations.
Maintain accurate books of accounts in ERP/Accounting systems.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.
Support departmental budget planning for sales, service, and manufacturing units.
3. Cost Control & Analysis
Track and control expenses for spare parts, vehicle procurement, service operations, and manufacturing processes.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for dealership operations, service centers, and inventory.
Monitor inventory valuation, depreciation of assets, and cost per vehicle/service.
4. Taxation & Compliance
Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory filings within deadlines.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
5. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
Manage banking relationships and negotiate terms for loans, overdrafts, and trade finance.
Ensure timely payments to suppliers and maintain credit control over customers.
6. MIS & Management Support
Prepare periodic MIS reports on sales, service, parts, and overall profitability.
Provide management with financial insights for pricing, discount strategies, and capital investment decisions.
Support decision-making with dealership network performance analysis.
7. Team Leadership
Guide and supervise finance executives and accountants.
Conduct periodic reviews and training for the finance team.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience.
Experience:
5-13 years in finance, preferably in the
automobile industry
(dealerships, manufacturing, or auto service companies).
Strong knowledge of
ERP systems
(SAP, Tally, Oracle, DMS).
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and corporate taxation.
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and financial modeling.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
