Danfoss is looking for a Asst. Manager - Finance, to join the diverse team. In this role you will be responsible for the reporting team handling the entity financials, internal control and audit coordination and completion, along with the critical project deliverables.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



1. Ensure compliance and documentation at legal entity level.



2. Preparation of Annual Statutory Financials in compliance with Ind-AS and handling the statutory and audit differences in SAP.



3. Expert in framing the RCM and handling ICOFR audit.



4. Handle the statutory audit with the Big4 audit firms.



5. Handle the internal audit for the entity responsible.



6. Expert in monthly, quarterly and annual accounts closing activities in SAP and HFM.



7. Ensure Adherence to Group Accounting Manual and relevant statutory accounting standards.



8. Assist monthly financials and ensure the quality, prior to reporting.



9. Assist in MIS and commentary on the performance, variance, and highlights and present to the management.



10. Review the accounts reconciliations and ensure corrective actions are taken.



11. Review various processes like GRIR, Revenue Recognition, impacting the reporting and ensure issues if any are resolved.



12. Review the standard and actual costing variances and alert the business controllers to act.



13. Ensure & strengthen the Internal control over financial reporting.

Background & Skills

1. Qualification: CA qualified.



2. 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably from a manufacturing sector.



3. Experience in financials preparation and audit handling.



4. Sound knowledge of IFRS, Ind-AS and other local statutory regulations.



5. Experienced in SAP FICO.



6. Ability to embrace change and adapt quickly.



7. Should have a structured, organised, and standardised approach.



8. Able to cope with sustained pressure.



9. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and number crunching, POWER BI, and PowerPoint



10. Strong influencing, leadership skills, inter-personal and communication skills.



11. Experience of working in multicultural environment would be an added advantage.



12. Ability to engage, drive and create a high performing team.
