Position Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for leading Business Partnering for Oncology, Mass Market, International Business & Dermatology (residual) franchises and Enabling functions, with lead for BUF revenue controls, IBP and EPM for India. Responsibilities include:
1. Business Partnering - Mass market, Oncology, International business, Dermatology (residual) and Enabling functions

  • End to end business partnering and financial planning for Sales / Opex.
  • Support Business planning and update cycles, product pricing, PDC reviews, new product launch, S&OP alignments, A&SP/ME reviews, distributor appointment, accruals processes and any other Business case review and analysis.
  • Price Variance, GP & Opex reviews and monitoring against the plan, appropriate support to find opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure robust business controls on spends, pricing and discounts and drive governance of the same. Drive compliance in processes with respect to adherence to SOPs and applicable guidelines.
2. Revenue cycle & Quarter close activities
  • Lead the end-to-end distributor appointment process.
  • Ensuring monthly & quarterly close related to revenue processes.
  • Quarterly review of account receivables and GP with CFO.
  • Monthly and quarterly signed off on Edit report, CN Analysis.
  • Annual review of all compliance activities including SOP and sign off
  • Supporting all audit related activities including Internal, Statutory and CIA audits. Ensuring completion of all the MAP issued.
  • BUF Lead for the PDC process and DICE tool
  • Work with sales team, deliver team and supply chain team to ensure monthly sales closing and ad hoc support.
3. IBP and EPM Lead
  • Work with regional stakeholders related new updates, improvements in IBP and EPM
  • Work with local finance team to ensure all the country deliverables are met with regards to IBP and EPM
  • Change agent for India
Qualifications:

Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting, CA / CMA or other financial certification
Required Years of Related Experience: ~ 4 years

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong business partnering skills to influence / partner with business stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and negotiate with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and business insight
  • Proven understanding of Finance / Accounting principles and processes
  • Should be a strong excellent teammate
  • Independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are essential to success
  • Should have passion for data analytics and insights capturing from same

  • Business partners (commercial and functional teams)
  • Business Unit Finance, Shared service Finance teams, Global services, COE team
  • Regional / Global stakeholders

The position is currently based out of Mumbai
Reporting:

Will be reporting into the Finance Controller, Janssen India and will have no direct reports
