Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Manager Finance to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly and Yearly financial closing activities, performing ledger scrutiny, preparing various cost reports, assisting in budget preparation and forecasting, and conducting monthly reviews of budgeted and actual costs. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.

Key Responsibilities

:

1. Monthly Financial Closing:



? Prepare the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

? Pass necessary closing entries and adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting. ? Prepare and review reconciliations for various accounts, including bank, inter-company, and balance sheet reconciliations.

? Conduct ledger scrutiny to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records. ? Coordinate with different departments to gather and verify financial data.

2. Preparing Various Reports on Cost:



? Prepare detailed cost reports and analysis to support management decision-making.

? Monitor and analyze cost variances, identifying trends and providing insights.

? Collaborate with other departments to gather cost-related information.

? Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures.

3. Assisting in Preparing Budgets and Forecasts:



? Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

? Work with department heads to gather necessary information for budgeting and forecasting.

? Analyze historical data and trends to support budget and forecast preparation.

? Ensure alignment of budgets and forecasts with the organization's strategic goals.

4. Monthly Review of Budgeted Cost and Actual Cost:



? Conduct monthly reviews of budgeted versus actual costs.

? Identify and analyze variances, providing detailed explanations and recommendations. ? Prepare and present variance analysis reports to senior management.

? Work with department heads to address and resolve budget discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills:



? B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance/CA-Inter (Preferred)

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

?

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with any of the well-known accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.



? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
