Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Finance is a pivotal role responsible for supporting the Assistant GM - Finance in managing the complete financial cycle, from daily compliance to finalization and strategic reporting, for the CGH Earth corporate function. This position requires a technically strong and detail-oriented professional with a focus on statutory compliance and robust internal controls, essential for a multi-unit hospitality group committed to ethical and responsible business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Finalization & MIS Reporting:
Oversee and manage the complete
finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
in compliance with Indian GAAP.
Prepare and analyze comprehensive
Management Information System (MIS) reports
, providing timely and insightful financial data and performance commentary to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Perform detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and financial modeling to forecast performance and identify areas for cost optimization across multiple properties.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation:
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns, including
Income Tax Return (ITR) filings
and
Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings
.
Manage all associated statutory
compliances
and documentation, ensuring the group remains in good standing with regulatory bodies.
Handle
Secretarial works
pertaining to the company's compliance requirements, in coordination with the company secretary/legal team.
Audit Management & Internal Control:
Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, preparing necessary schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls across all F&A processes to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and central statutory regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
Budgeting & Cost Management:
Support the annual budgeting process and assist in developing periodic financial forecasts for the assigned business units.
Analyze costs, with a focus on operational efficiency and tracking investments related to the group's sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance is required.
CA Intermediate (Inter) Passed
is a mandatory requirement for this vacancy.
Experience:
Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in the Finance & Accounts domain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or multi-unit accounting role, preferably within the
Hospitality Industry
.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, direct and indirect taxation (Income Tax, GST), and corporate compliance requirements.
Software Skills:
High proficiency in accounting software and hands-on experience with MS Excel for complex financial modeling and reporting.
