Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Manager / Head of Finance
Job Summary: The Assistant Manager - Finance will support the financial management and operations of the organization. This role includes managing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Support the forecasting process and variance analysis.
• Provide insights to improve financial performance.

Accounting and Compliance:

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in internal and external audits.

Cash Management:

• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Support treasury management activities.

Team Management:

• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Provide training and support to team members.

Financial Systems and Processes:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
• Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills:
