Role Overview
The Senior Finance Executive will oversee the organization's financial health and reporting accuracy. This position requires strategic insight, operational excellence, and strong knowledge of financial regulations. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and sound financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead budgeting and forecasting across departments.
Conduct financial analysis to guide business decisions and cost optimization.
Monitor KPIs and prepare dashboards for leadership.
2. Accounts Receivable & Payable Oversight
Supervise AR/AP processes ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Resolve billing, reconciliation, and vendor/client issues.
Maintain and review aging reports and AP/AR summaries.
3. Taxation & Compliance
Oversee preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Stay updated on tax laws and implement process improvements.
Coordinate with consultants and auditors for assessments and compliance.
4. Treasury & Banking
Manage company cash flow, fund planning, and bank operations.
Handle domestic and international remittances, FX transactions, and regulatory reporting.
Liaise with banks for credit, forex, and investment decisions.
5. Audit, Controls & Documentation
Lead internal and statutory audits with proper documentation and reconciliations.
Strengthen internal control systems for financial accuracy.
Ensure adherence to statutory financial requirements.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor junior finance staff and facilitate skill development.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and leadership teams.
Develop SOPs for finance operations and enhance ERP utilization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CA or MBA Finance preferred).
10-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a corporate or luxury retailenvironment.
Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and advanced Excel*.
