Introduction to Role:
Join us at AstraZeneca, a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, as an Assistant Manager - Facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Lead, you will be the initial point of contact for the Facilities department, ensuring services are provided effectively and efficiently. You will demonstrate a high level of security awareness and be well-versed in emergency evacuation procedures and Health and safety.

Accountabilities:
In this role, you will ensure the delivery of Facilities Management services to a high standard, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. You will manage external contractors, assist with office moves, and support the Facilities Lead with administrative requirements. You will also be responsible for general health and safety duties, operational and staff management, budget management, and ensuring statutory compliance for the facility.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • BE/B Tech/Any Graduate
  • Facilities Management Professional credentials desirable.
  • Nebosh IGC-IOSH desirable
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of M&E
  • Strong track record of managing external relationships
