Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at the coal mine.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment.
• Plan and schedule electrical maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with other departments to support operational requirements and project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades to electrical systems.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Valid Electrical Supervisor license or certification.
• Health and Safety certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical supervision within the coal mining industry.
